When Thomas Edison invented the light bulb, he tried over 2,000 experiments before he got it to work. Abraham Lincoln was defeated five times for public office before becoming President in 1860. Winston Churchill failed the sixth grade. As long as people have been trying, people have been failing. The Bible is filled with accounts of men and women of faith falling flat on their faces, a stark reminder that no one is above the humiliation of missing the mark; no one is too good, too holy, or too noble to experience the anguish of failure.
In our study this Sunday, July 13 we'll take a look at what Paul has to say about failure. See ya at any of our three Starbucks locations...Palmetto Bay Road, Piggly Wiggly, or Pineland Station from 6:00 PM - 7:30 PM.
