About - Pastor Michael Carr

Michael Carr is the Founding and Lead Pastor of Central Church. Under his leadership, the church has grown from a small group meeting on Sunday afternoon in 1987 to a congregation that has grown to over 400 in services on Sunday morning and Wednesday evenings. Michael is passionate about building relationships that last. He has a great passion to communicate Biblical truths in a creative, relevant way.

Michael and his wife, Lou Ann, are graduates of Lee University in Cleveland, Tennessee. They both have a rich heritage in their faith, growing up in homes where their parents loved God and the local church. The devotion of their parents to Christ, the church and their families made an indelible impression on both of them, which has influenced them greatly in their approach to ministry. Michael and Lou Ann have been blessed with two sons, David and Jonathan.
